What this site is

Byron Bay Bathroom Renovations is owned by a third party. It is not itself a building company: it puts you in touch with the builder named below, who carries out the work.

All building work is carried out by Faulkner Building Group Pty Ltd, ABN 31 670 527 652, under NSW builder’s licence 487626C, and is subject to that company’s own terms and refund policies. Byron Bay Bathroom Renovations is not responsible for any work carried out between a customer and Faulkner Building Group Pty Ltd.

The rest of it is general information about bathroom renovation work in this region, written to help you understand what a job involves before you ring anyone.

It is not advice about your house, your floor or your plumbing. Nobody can give you that without standing in the room.

Nothing here is a quote

No page on this site is an offer, a quote or a fixed price. Costs on this site are described as ranges of influence, not as figures you can hold us to.

A price only exists once we have looked at the room and put a written scope in front of you, item by item.

That written scope, and the contract that follows it, are the only documents that set what the work is and what it costs.

About the photographs

Some of the photographs on this site are of bathrooms completed by this business, supplied by us. Their file names all begin with the word client, if you want to tell which.

The rest are illustrations of the type of work described on the page. They are not photographs of our jobs, and they are not presented as a portfolio.

As more of our own work is photographed it replaces the illustrations, and this note changes with it.

Standards we name

Where this site refers to AS 3740, it means the Australian Standard for waterproofing of domestic wet areas, as it applies at the time the work is carried out.

Referring to a standard is a description of how the work is done. It is not a certification issued by this website.

Licence and credentials

Building work is carried out by Faulkner Building Group Pty Ltd, ABN 31 670 527 652, under NSW builder's licence 487626C. Master Builders member.

The licence, the ABN and the membership above are the builder's, not this website's.

You are welcome to check either of those, and we would rather you did.

You may read it, print it and quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish it as your own.

We try to keep this site up and correct, and we do not promise it will never be down or never contain a mistake.
